Regional Economist to Share Report
Waushara County Workforce and Economic Conditions
On Monday, January 18th Waushara County’s Vision 2020 Committee will host Department of Workforce Development Economist, Jeffrey Sachse to discuss workforce and economic conditions within Waushara County. The meeting will be held from 10:30am-Noon in the Waushara County Courthouse, Conference Room 109. All Vision 2020 meetings are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.
Sachse will share highlights from the 2015 Waushara County Economic and Workforce Profile. This recently completed report includes information about the county’s population, labor force dynamics, economic situation, industry, workforce patterns and area trends which impact the economic security of Waushara County residents. Understanding Waushara County’s economic and workforce strengths and challenges is a foundation for continued dialogue and planning.
Vision 2020, a committee of the Waushara Prevention Council, Inc. engages the community in efforts that reduce the impact of economic insecurity in the community. Workforce and economic conditions are among many community factors affecting the committee’s work.
